What the job is
Every year, thousands of people dream of becoming doctors. Most have no idea whether they’re on track, or what’s standing between them and a medical school offer. You’re the person who helps them find out.
You’ll be the first real conversation these people have about their future in medicine. You get curious about what they actually want, you tell them the truth about what it takes, and you help them decide whether to commit to that goal with us, through our flagship program, The Bootcamp.
This role sits in our sales and enrolment team. It’s done over the phone because a real conversation, where you can actually listen and respond, helps people far more than a webpage ever could. Every lead is provided to you, so there’s no cold calling. Your job is to have great conversations with people who’ve already put their hand up.
What your day actually looks like
You log on from home for a focused couple of hours during business hours. You’re on the phone with people chasing a big, ambitious dream, getting to know them, understanding their situation, and helping them see a path forward. Some conversations are pure fun: big futures, real excitement. Some are the honest, braver ones people have been avoiding for months. Both are deeply satisfying.
- Talk to fascinating people. Prospective doctors are ambitious, thoughtful, and interesting. You’ll never be bored.
- Play detective. Uncover what each person really wants, needs, and quietly fears.
- Have the conversations that matter. The honest ones that move someone from “I’m not sure” to “I’m in.”
- Make the offer. Ask for the commitment and hold people to the word they gave themselves.
- Ring the bell. Every enrolment is someone betting on their own future, and you helped them do it.
- Keep it tight. Tracking sheet current, daily check-ins, nothing dropped.
Who you'll work with
You won’t be a cog in a call centre. At first you’ll work closely with the company’s Director and a sharp, high-energy salesperson who’ll show you the ropes. Small team, high standards, a lot of laughing. We have a real system to train you, support you, and help you thrive, and we’re genuinely invested in you getting great at this.

You do not need to be a medical student or know anything about the medical process. What matters is who you are:
- You love talking to people. Conversations energise you, they don’t drain you. The phone is your happy place.
- You’re an action-taker. You can’t help it. Sitting on a good idea physically bothers you, and you’d rather try, learn, and adjust than wait for permission.
- You’re self-driven. We won’t be sitting next to you. You bring your own motivation, take ownership, and don’t need chasing.
- You want to be great, not just fine. You take the feedback, do the reps, and get a quiet thrill from watching yourself improve.
- Your English is excellent. We’re in a teaching niche, and you’ll be leading by example.

The time commitment
Two hours per day, four or five days a week (depending on your schedule), during business hours. It’s a genuine part-time commitment that fits around your life, whether that’s GAMSAT prep, study, or something else.
